Florida has always been known for it’s world class golf courses but now it is widely recognized as being a golf school haven. The second type of golf school involves actual golf lessons. These schools are located all over the country mostly in the sun belt areas. The student can take personal lessons with some of the same instructors that work with PGA tour professionals. The tuition for the golf instruction schools is high depending on the location and time involved. The schools last from 3 days to a duration of 1 week and most graduates feel they are well worth the time, effort and money spent.
If you are contemplating a career in golf go to an acclaimed school such as the San Diego Golf Academy, On the other hand, if you just want to improve your golf game, choose one of the above mentioned schools.
However, most of these schools are not meant for the recreational golfer. Anyone that is above a 10 handicap, should look into the PurePoint Golf Academy or a similar school that caters to golfers who are currently above a 10 handicap, and they are really focused on lower golf scores.
