Hi Bobby,

Thanks a lot for your regular support with various ideas.

I would like to share a good news, there was UGA tournament held last Sat (23 sep 06) and I was lucky to win 2 prizes (1 nearest to the pin and 1 Div.B winner). This was due to your instruction.

Prize was presented by Mr. Bob who hosted during the dubai desert classic tour. You may find a pic.

With best regards.

I'm 69 years old with a 15 handicap. In my younger days I carried a 5 handicap, but following surgery on both shoulders, I played little for about 10 years. Since I resumed playing on a regular basis 11 years ago, I have not been able to regain the same ball-striking consistency I used to have.

I realize this is, in part, due to my age and sheer physical degradation. However, your DVD has enabled me to focus on the basics better than any tutorial I have seen, including Jack's "Golf My Way." Since watching the DVD and using your suggestions, especially the backswing 90º to the spine angle, I have been playing much better, hitting almost all my shots much straighter and more solidly. I still lift my left heel, but you can't teach an old dog too many new tricks all at once!

First, I tried your method out at the driving range. Then, feeling comfortable with my swing, I took it to the course. I immediately shot 81 (which included a triple bogey), then I had a 79 (which also included a triple bogey!) on a tough course where I had never before broken 80. I hit or was on the fringe of 13 greens. To cap off the round I birdied three of the last five holes (which is a personal record).

I hope this isn't just a "flash in the pan" but I don't think so. There are so few key points to concentrate on at address. At my age, it's best if there aren't too many things to remember!

Thank you,

Pete Brennan

Bobby: Thanks for your efforts, I am an old Navy Combat Carrier Pilot(WW2), 83/2, but at one time was a scratch golfer, sometimes it shows up and the kids love to beat me, I play regularily with a young man who plays the Hooters tour. I play pretty good on my home course, about 90.

I believe you are on the right track and I believe that ball position is the most important part in golf, if we can find the bottom of the swing, and set up to that point, the game is much easier.

It is very easy to see what others do wrong even minor errors, we have two sons, two grandsons who are great golfers and have won many small awards and club champions, one has played in the US Mid Am three times. In another life, I may return to teach this great game to others.

Please continue your work, use this letter o any manner you see fit, and thanks,

Bill

Subject: Re: Joseph, The Backswing that Increases Consistency

I went back and reviewed the driver dvd and it helps tremendously. Now I am getting about 25 yards more on by drives. I still have the problem of pushing the ball sometimes. I think it is because I am not finishing the swing to the left side (3rd base). This happens on certain hole and seems to be an aversion to hitting near a water hazard on that hole. I did change my grip to the so-called "Optimum" grip and have found it is easier for me to get my hands through more easily and consistently. If I concentrate on where the ball is supposed to go and make sure I swing through, my drives are going straight and about 225 to 250 yards, which is quite an improvement for an old man of 66. The only miss hit I have had with my driver on the last two rounds was a little on the toe, but I completed the swing and ended up on line and about 220 yards with a slight draw. This is a big change from topping or hitting on the heel. The instruction about standing straighter and extending the arms helped the most to correct the problem.

G'day Bobby,

I'm very happy and surprised with the progress I am making after watching your DVD, The PurePoint Golf Swing. You have mentioned several times about breaking 80, and for the first time after about two weeks of reading and practising your methods I went out to play a Stroke Event at my Golf Club and came home with a 76 off the stick, less my handicap of 14, a net 62!! Wow!! My best score so far (my handicap reduced to 12). I continue to read and learn from your emails and hope to break 76/80 shots regularly.

Please keep sending those emails!

Thanks, Siggi

Hi Bobby,

Firstly would like to thank you for producing the PurePoint Swing program. When I originally purchased it, was playing off of a 9/10 handicap, and as you point out the lower the handicap you are, you are likely to only take parts of what you suggest to incorporate in my own technique, well I am happy to report that following some, not all of your tips am now playing off of a 7 handicap.Personally I take this as quite an achievement as I did not start playing golf until I was 42/43, now just passed 53.

I know in some peoples eyes 10 years is more than enough to achieve this kind of handicap, but I play with guys who have played a lot longer than me and are still 20+ handicappers, I have tried to help these people out over the course of time, even showed them your simple set-up routine, I stress the "Simple" part, but I don't know if they really want to improve or not because they seem to be ok with the consistent "DUFF" shots they make, so I keep quiet now.

I set myself a target 2 years ago to get down to a single figure handicap and to play the best golf.I could before age caught me up and affected my game somewhat, and have to say I would probably not have achieved it without your "Simple" assistance.

Hope I can report a further decrease in handicap in the future.

Bobby I wrote to you last week speaking of my frustration. You wrote back with some good calming advice, which I took to the range and worked on.

Today I played in a fundraising tournament here in Baltimore, using a straight golf handicap format. I carry a 16 handicap.

The first two holes I bogied bogied. My partner asked what was going on as it seemed to him that I was really stiff, taking half swings, but then trying to crush the ball.

So I sat down, calmed down, and on the next hole tried to invision not the golf course but the practice range, and I went through the steps, and concentrated not on where the ball went but were the golf club went to strike the ball. All of sudden things began to make sense. I shot a 77 today, (gross), and had a closet to the pin on a par three hole. This may not sound like much, but until today, I considered breaking 90 a good day, and I have never hit a golf ball close to anything that I aimed for. My partner wants some of the medicine that I took on the third hole, I gave him your email and purchasing information.

Bobby thank you, for giving me the tools to not only stop a bad round and get some control on the course, but, well having a reusable commodity that I can use to do that. As far as I am concerned this was the best money that I have ever spent. I know that this process is long from over, but I wanted to know what you have really given to me. This week I am excited about golf again.

Subject: RE: "PurePoint Golf Swing" Users Speak Out

Dear Bobby,

I was able to practice your system after reading for 3 days at the driving range (2 hours/day starting last Wednesday). It had a positive effect on my swing and accuracy. To verify the effectiveness, I played last Saturday equipped with the new system. I'm 100% on fairway, made few greens in regulation and mostly around the green 20 yards less. NO BUNKERS! NO WATER HAZARDS! NO ROUGHS! I scored 86, but could have done it better. It's not because I played 2 holes badly, it was probably I underestimated my newly learnt swing. Guess what, 150 yards left on the 1st hole for my second shot. I picked up my 7-iron wind condition was calm and it went straight to the pin but landed at the very top of the green and rolled over for 30-yards!!! Again, same thing happened on hole # 2. A short par 4 and I was 125 yards and pickup my 9-iron again as my normal club to use between 125-130 yards, the ball went straight at the pin and over shoot the green.

Twice I used too much club!!! I never over shoot the green with my normal clubs and distance before. From there I was beginning to managed properly and use the appropriate club for every approach shot. It brings a new strategy to my game. Now, I'm probably going to recalibrate my distance.
This is wonderful and the hassles I went in getting your system along with patience paid-off well. Now I'm going to read all the bonus items and hopefully bring my game to a better level. Thank you very much!!!

Best regards,

Lino

P.S.

The Mental Preparation Bonus was of a big help. I thought about it before making a shot.

" I have to say that i was dubious that i was going to find a solution to a really annoying slice i had developed, especially from the internet! I am quite stubborn and think that if it is something that i have picked up i should be able to rectify without help. I found your site and recieved a few tips from the first chapter of your book. I am not much of a reader when it comes to self help books, i generally prefer to go straight to the problem and physically fix it rather than mentally, boy am i glad i thought otherwise - it made sense and seeing the swing in action in a recent email just made it all come together. I am hitting consistantly again, and am able to know what i did to cause the slice or hook. I am enjoying playing an EFFORTLESS game and getting the yardage i want rather than what i have to make do with.

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. Just sorry i didn't buy your book - "PurePoint Golf", shows that i wasn't to far off solving the problem!

Once again thanks.

Q: How did the simple golf swing help you?
A: It is simple enough that I can understand it, duplicate it and fix it when it starts to go wrong.

Q: How many strokes did you drop?

A: Consistantly, at least 6, but I had a couple really good rounds where I was about 15 strokes better than normal.

Q: What happened that you didn't expect?

A: That it actually worked for more than a few shots or for the day. It worked week after week.

Q: Why should others try this?

A: Because it might save them years of frustration and the wasting of any more money trying to find something to help their game. The cost is nothing compared to a tank of fuel or even a round of golf and you get a money back guarantee----you can't lose.
