About Nickent

Nickent makes a very good golf club. They have one of the best hybrid sets on the market, and that is what they became known for a few years ago. I personally use they're 3DC hybrids.

About the Iron Set

One magazine has called the 3DX Hybrid Iron the "longest 5 iron in the world."

The idea is to make an efficient, integrated hybrid iron set that would get rid of the large gap between the 4-hybrid and the 5-iron. The result is a ball flight that matches your current long iron, but that soars 20-25 yards further.

The Results of a Recent Test

Golf Laboratories did the below test on the Iron-Byron (a swing machine that perfectly replicates the golf swing every time). The test was done at a swing speed of 85 mph. If you swing faster than that, the difference in distance will be less substantial.

In a recent test conducted by Golf Laboratories in San Diego, the 3DX Hybrid iron set tested as the longest in total distance and carry on center, heel and toe hits. Nickent Golf’s 3DX Hybrid 5 iron outdistanced some of the top selling 5 irons in the market by as much as 25 yards!!!

The hollow heads on the 3DX Hybrid irons give you the same launch and trajectory of a normal iron, while soaring well past a typical old traditional set. And you get more efficient loft spacing from club to club. Combine these awesome irons with two 3DC hybrids, which replace the 3 and 4 iron, and you now have a very nice set of clubs!

• 35 grams of weight was saved by attaching a 5-gram carbon composite cap on the back of the clubhead. Nickent placed this extra 35 grams into two steel plugs at the bottom and back of the hollow iron. This created a launch characteristic that was extremely high because of the club being a hollow iron with a CG as far back and as low as possible.
• This extremely high launch angle created by the hollow iron gave us the ability to strengthen the lofts, while giving the golfer the same exact launch as their normal long iron. This is efficient thinking at its best!
• The hollow iron shares the Center of Gravity, Moment of Inertia and C.O.R. characteristics of a fairway wood. With the 3DX Hybrid Iron set sharing many characteristics of a fairway wood throughout the entire set, it is the only true hybrid-iron set on the market!

The Shaft

You will be able to choose between regular and stiff flex for both the driver and the irons. All irons and drivers will be sent to you with the SR2 graphite shafts.

About Your Free Driver

I can ONLY get the driver in 10.5 loft. The lower the degree of loft the more side-spin that is placed on the ball. 10.5 degrees of loft on a driver is good if you want to maximize the chances of hitting the ball down the middle. If you're a 10 handicap or above, chances are, you should be hitting a 10.5 driver. 9 degrees loft is not enough in most cases.

Nickent's new square driver will help you hit the ball straighter. You know that I believe it's more the swing than the club. However, there's no debate that the club does make a bit of a difference. The square drivers on the market do help you hit the ball a bit straighter. They also reduce the impact of off-center hits since there is more weight on both sides of the club.
