The biggest question that we have received so far is “Will this work for me”? And - I will say that we have received this question mainly from people that have not been using the PurePoint System. Those that are using the PurePoint System, already know that this instruction works. However, we believe that this question does apply to everyone, so we’re going to address it.
Background:
As I mentioned in the previous email, we believe in testing everything before we get it to you. To do that with this Driver DVD, we tested a group of 23 golfers in AZ over a period of 4 weeks. What we found was really astonishing. On average, the golfer that tried these methods
Pretty good, right?
Now, let’s discuss the reduction of right / left yardage first. Obviously, it is extremely important to hit the ball relatively straight off the tee. If you really think about it, the typical fairway you’re trying to hit is a pretty large target. However, if you have problems on your drives (slice, hook, pulls, and pushes), the fairway can be much more difficult to hit… in comparison with hitting a green on a typical 150 yard shot. There are many reasons why this fact exists, but the main reason is the club itself. The driver is much more prone to putting spin on the ball because it is a lower lofted club. Added to this, the length of the club makes it harder to control.
In our driver-specific instruction, we have addressed all of the major problems that golfers face, individually, before we get into the mechanics of the swing. Therefore, if you have a specific problem, you can address that section of the DVD, incorporate the instruction into your game, and move on to the mechanics.
This is how many of our "test golfers" became more accurate almost immediately. They learned the instruction that pertained to the specific problem that they faced, made the adjustments that we taught, and took their normal swing. The results were fantastic… and immediate in most cases. These golfers looked at the mechanics section of the DVD almost as an added bonus. They applied bits and pieces of the information to their game, and came away with much better drives.
There were others that wanted to start from the beginning, and that’s exactly what they did. These golfers took in all the information in the mechanics section first, and "rebuilt" their swing to the PurePoint Golf System. Then if they still had a problem after doing this, they went back to the information that specifically addressed the issue that they were having, and came away with that problem solved.
Bottom Line:
If you reduce the left / right movement in ball flight, the result is a longer shot. The ball generally carries further, but more importantly, it rolls straighter after hitting the fairway. Through this DVD (no matter how you use it), we have given you the tools to be deeper in the fairway, on a more consistent basis. That translates into more greens hit in regulation, and lower scores.
If our "test golfers" can increase their driving distance by an average of 27 yards, just think about what it can do for you. Remember, these are golfers with various experience levels. We wanted to be sure to test this on a wide range of people so that we could be almost positive that anyone who watched this instruction would come away hitting better drives.
Our test subjects experienced this, and we are confident that you will experience the same.
We'll be back in a few days to explain one more question, and then it's on to the really good stuff.
Regards,
