I have now used your material “The Simple Golf Swing System” but still I have problem with a big slice. I am left handed and all the times I hit the ball it will go to the left.
The problem is, I think "regriping" and that I don't know how to swing through. I can't do the crossing of arms. Can you give me a tip of how I shall do? And with the driver it results in a big, big slice to the left. With the irons, most of the time I will top the ball. Your lessons about chipping is better for me, most of the time I will do a good chip. What shall I do with my slicing? Lennart |

I want you to find a lie BALL ABOVE YOUR FEET. If you can hit balls great. If not just making swings from a BALL ABOVE YOUR FEET lie will make all the difference in the world.
Let me know how it's going. bobby |

Drill for left-handed
I tried your advice to hit ball from above your feet. I didn’t work so well. Some balls still went to the left, or I hit the ground. When I play with irons I make straight divots, but the ball goes left. A friend of me told that I was rotating with my hips and legs and not with a spine rotation. Can that be the problem? In some way is my club open at impact, and I stop the swing when I have hit the ball. Instead I have a tendency to follow the ball direction with my club, so I’m not swinging through. In my backswing I often move my head back with the backswing. How can I hold it still? Do you have some good drills for me? |

Have you tried hitting balls with both feet and knees touching each other? This drill helps with making the arms roll first in the downswing.

try to hold your back to the target longer as you start your downswing. and try to turn more inside your right foot take your right shoulder and just start it straight back like on a shower curtain.
