Anybody know what is an average distance for a mid handicapper with a 22 degree hybrid assuming good flat lie and not over-swinging? "Thanks" in advance for all input.

Perhaps 150 yards of carry plus the run, maybe a bit more
It's a good club and easy to hit. (similar to a 5 wood)

Word of caution to all. Before you purchase a hybrid I want you to think of two things.

1. What is it going to replace-don't wind up with two clubs doing the same job.
2. Make sure you like them to start with. Borrow one and practice with it before you buy one.

I'm using Hybrid 3 21 degree. Solid shot will give me 180meter. I replaced my 5 wood with this hybrid though I believe this 21 degree is equivalant to Wood 7.

I have a Cobra baffler 3 hybrid that is 20 degree. I used it in place of a 3 iron or 5 wood. I hit it about 220 to 230 off the deck and around 240-250 off a tee. I hit it from the tee on narrow par 4's and after bad tee shots on long holes.

I had 3,5,7,9 woods before trying a hybrid. I purchased a 2 hybrid first(18 degrees/R Flex) and replaced my 3 wood(15 degrees). It gave me the same or better distance and much more control/accuracy. It worked so well I now carry a 2(18 degrees),4(24 degrees),5(27 degrees)hybrid and no woods. I love them. In fact I like them so much I just purchased the matching 3 hybrid. For me they are far superior to woods. I hit my 2 hybrid off the tee on tight fairways - 220 yds average and 200-215 off the fairway. My 4 hybrid gives me 175-185 yds. I use the #5 for the 160-175 range depending on loft needed and wind conditions. So I am expecting the 3 hybrid to fit the 190-200 range on the fairway and to replace the 2 hybrid on long fairway shoots. The #3 also has a stiff flex which I expect to deliver more accuracy. Depending how it goes the 2 hybrid may get less use or even be retired.
