What is the best ball placement for a full swing with various clubs?

I saw a tip of yours that showed how when your setup is correct, the ball placement naturally moves forward as the club lengthens.
Trouble is that with my clubs the change is very slight, if any.
Even going from a pit<a href=http://www.purepointgolf.com/instruction-golf-swing-setup-chin>chin</a>g wedge to a 4 iron doesn’t make much difference with the apparent ball placement when I position the club handle to my belt buckle.
Could this be due to the clubs being offset slightly?

The difference in the length between your pitching wedge and four iron should be at least 3 inches. So the difference between the wedge position and the four iron should be about 3 inches.

Thanks Bobby. This is what I picked up in one of your tips. However I don't understand why the position should change between the different irons.

The different length of the shafts place the clubhead further forward the longer the shaft. That is the way the heads and shafts are designed.

That is why you can get the longer irons in the air.
