In the book, "The New Four Magic Moves to Winning Golf" by Andy Brown, Joe Dante and Len Elliot a compelling case is made for setting the wrist break early in the backs swing as you take the club back and bring it to the 9:00 o'clock position. How does this fit with the Pure Point Golf System? Can it be integrated?
Their four magic moves are:
1. Early backward wrist break with thumb press
2. Steel-spring tension with straight left wrist (at the top)
3. Lateral slide, with head back making NO effort whatever to move the club as the move brings the club into the hitting area
4. Hand-hit out of the "eternal triangle," letting the COAM (conservation of angular momentum) take it's course through to a complete follow thru.
I obtained the book from "GOLFSWINGSECRETSREVEALED.COM"
I like the fact that this sets your right wrist flat at the top of the swing which is something I cannot seem to do with a traditionally timed wrist ****. I have tried their technique on the range and am getting better accuracy and fewer slices.
I am wondering if the DVD I received from Pure Point golf (which the wed site says is "intermediate") is simplifying things too much and if the advanced technique contains a left movement of the hips leading them into the rotation.
Would very much appreciate feedback on these questions.
