Fairway woods

I am having trouble hitting my fairway woods with any consistency. I pop them up or tend to slice the ball when I do hit them a reasonable distance. I've checked my grip and worked on my take away but still can't seem to get it. I've also moved my ball position more forward in my stance. I would appreciate any other suggestions you may have.
