I have an involuntary reaction that causes my head to rotate during the swing with the result of causing poor contact with the ball.
Usually I top it.
I have tried different remedies to keep my <a href=http://www.purepointgolf.com/instruction-putting-setup-eyes>eyes</a> focused on the ball, such as
putting a ball market behind it, etc.
Do you have any suggestions for breaking this bad habit - or reaction ?

Rotate, look away from the ball, look up, look left? A bit more info and I will be able to get you started. Where does it rotate to?

Everyone seems to have this problem at one time or another.
When I see this in my self, I think of the old newsreels of Jack Nicklaus and how he set for his shots. Watch some of these. He sets up with his left eye focused and exaggerated down looking at the ball...as if to say with my chin and head cocked so far to the right, it's going to take me that much longer to get my head up and sneak a peak to see where the ball is going. I have also heard the suggestion to watch the club hit the ball. They helped me.

Thanks for the info. If you can't learn something from him who can you learn from.

I have similiar bad habit as I start my back swing, the result is that I don't keep my eyes on ball all the way till complete my swing, also my body shift horizontally a bit from left to right (up swing), and a bit right to left ( down swing), all these bad habits come to when I started playing and try to get more shifting power as I move downward, now I am at next stage of the game, need to remove all these bad habits, could you advise me how I can remove those bad habits ?? thanks. parasol
