I have followed your 5 points, but find I do not transfer weight by just swing with arms and shoulders. I am thinking maybe this method is more suited to men than women, as they have more upper body strength.

The method I teach is for both men and women. You do not have to have upper body strength to swing the golf club.

I have a similar problem. Any suggestions on a drill to rectify this.

The things I struggle with are;
1. I do not get any distance. I realise it is symptom and not a problem but it does affect my game.
2. I have a tendency to swing outside in. I learned this bad habit long before I purchased your DVD’s. To unlearn this I now hit 50% of my practice balls with my feet and knees touching. This is slowly but surely helping.
3. When viewing a video of my swing it clearly shows that I hit the ball when my weight is still on by back foot. During the practice swing it looks fine but I really struggle not to do it with the actual shot.

I hope this is sufficient description of my problems to enable you to suggest some remedies.

The reason you hit with your weight on your back foot has a lot to do with your out to in swing path.

I want you to try this for the next two weeks.

After you sole the golf club on the ground, I want you to pick the clubhead up six inches off of the ground and then swing. Make sure you hold the club in the air at address.

You will struggle for the first 100 swings but after that you should see some changes. Let me know how it goes.

Thanks. I started doing it and it certainly helps a lot.
Should this now become my new swing or should I return to the conventional manner after a while?
