Over the top

Bobby, what drill would you recommend in order to stop comming over the top? Please point out what club to use when executing the drill.

On the same line please indicate what are the factors (wrong grip, address, backswing, downswing) contributing to this dreaded fault.

I have a great drill for coming over the top.

Find a BALL ABOVE YOUR FEET LIE....you do not have to hit balls, just swing. Take your normal swing and if you come over the top you will strike the ground and take a deep divot.

The ball ABOVE your feet lie should be just a slight angle...You can use any club in your bag.
