I have been playing Golf for a year and the GoflSwingGuru lessons have helped improve my long play enormously but it is not reflecting on my scorecard as much as it should because as my full swing improves I am loosing touch with my short game. i.e. nice connected swing now but my feel has gone for the shorter stuff.
I just find an iron a very strange implement for hitting a golf ball - give me a driver, hybrid or a wood off the fairway and I don't have a problem.
I keep getting close to the greens for my approach shots in regulation but I have no confidence with my irons. I have come down from a 22 - 15 handicap in 6 months but it is not getting any better because of my short game. When people see my swing they can believe that I am still a 15 handicap.
Do I need to adopt a different approach for my irons?
