Right Shoulder

I was watching your how to hit a draw DVD and you mentioned that if you take your right shoulder back to far you will slice. Since it is key to turn your right shoulder in the backswing how do you know what the correct distance is on how far to take the right shoulder back?

If you can get your left shoulder an inch or two PAST the golf ball in the backswing, that is more than enough.
