Re: Your tip/video on "Straightening the Right Arm": Please explain more about this one. Do the shoulders turn at all as you straighten the right arm? In order to get the chest square to the ball at impact, it would seem that the straightening of the right arm must be done together with some rotation of the shoulders. I can't imagine you're suggesting a "tomahawking" motion...ie. straightening the right arm downward without turning the shoulders from the fully rotated position at the end of the backswing...Please describe further. Thanks!

The first move from the top is to make sure the golf club returns on the same path it went up on. The mistake of turning the right shoulder first stops the right arm from unfolding. NO I am not saying to chop.

If you think of the entire golf swing as a chain-reaction and not individual pieces then you can see the flow of the right arm unfolding first, then the left hip begins to move then as the golf club passes the right hip pocket THEN the right shoulder starts to unwind.

This should answer your question. If not please let me know.
