Too Little/Too Much Sand for Bunker Shot?

Hi Bobby:
Have your bunker video and think it is excellent. The only problem i have is where I enter the sand with my club - sometimes too fat or thin - how do you control this. Is it the same for wet or soft sand?

One course I play has very little sand it is hard and dirt what is the best way to hit out of these conditions. Thanks
