Default Equipment: swing plane and lie angle

Hello,
It seems that I am more consistent with my driver in terms of accuracy than any other club. Mostly they go straight with some tendency to pull and/or a little fade. My arms are a little shorter than average, but my wrist to ground measurement and all other measures signal standard lie and shaft length.
It occurred to me that maybe I needed flatter lie clubs and a rounder swing but the response has always been "let's see how your club marks the lie board when you hit" and of course it's ok. But I think to myself, "I make it ok, then and when playing, by standing taller and swinging more erect"
I am also much more likely to hit a slice off the deck than off the tee with other clubs.
Any comments?

In what may be linked i came across a reference to True Length Technology
