Default Extreme Strong grip

I have been using an extemely strong grip to chip with. It places my thumb on the left side of the grip (i'm a lefty). It is known by another coach as a power thumb. I find that the rest of the swing is the same. Center stance, forward weight, 8:00 swing, downward action, and short follow through. The only difference is the swing arc is straight back and through, the clubface does not open and close.
