Hi Bobby,
I just purchased these new metal woods (ThomasGolf) and I would like to know how to hit them. I've been placing them in the middle of my stance and keep the club head flat and the handle at my belt buckle. However, I'm a little intimidated by the slope of the hybrid as I look down and I'm hitting the ball very low but straight. I need to get the shots up in the air, which is what they were designed for. Suggestions?? Raymond Tompkins |

Start by moving the ball one or two inches towards your left heel and let me know what happens.

Hi Bobby,
I'm still not sure how to "move the ball one or two inches towards the left heel". If I take the normal stance with the ball in the middle of my stance and the club head is flat and the handle is pointed at my belt buckle. Do I then adjust my stance forward (both feet) an inch or two while keeping the club handle still pointed at my belt buckle? |

Let me make sure we are on the same page, when you say move your feet FORWARD, do you mean towards the target? If so, that places the ball further BACK in your stance. I want you to play the ball off of your left heel...

Opps, sorry Bobby, I mis-read your first response. Yes, I'll move the ball an inch or two toward the LEFT foot. Do I line up with everything square and the handle pointing at my belt buckle and then move BACK an inch or two? Raymond
