Its a fine line between keeping out spammers and allowing new members in.
I personally have been monitoring everyone that asks for membership to the forum. Sometimes its very hard to tell malicious intent from just a username and email address, so spammers still get in. But I've also been moderating the posts and removing any spam that I find. All spam messages are removed within 24 hours of posting. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Please bear with us while we try to keep the forum spam free. Thank you. Administrator
