I've just gone through the Full Swing DVD for the second time. I'm starting to enjoy the driver again, no complaints there. But I'm still not hitting the irons (5-PW) as well as I would like. Even when I hit a solid five iron, my distance will only be 150 yds, usually less. This distance has been constant for years. Any suggestions?

I would suggest purchasing the "Perfect Impact" DVD. Very user friendly DVD with useful drills to work on.....

I had as similar problem with the irons (compared to the drivers).I found by consciously speeding up the arm and hand movement (ie uncocking the wrists)earlier it gave greater clubhead speed at impact, rather than max speed after impact -which of course is wasted effort. The sensation of the woods is different to irons. Also are you hitting the sweet spot? That disclosing tape could help?
