Open o close?

Dear Bobby,
When on bunkers, I have always been told to keep the club face so open at address that you could hold a glass on it. Here you are telling to keep it square or slightly open.
Which one is correct?

Also the stance, how much should it be open?

#1 Short shots-Face open-Feet square
#2 Medium length shots-Face slightly open-Feet square
#3 Long bunker shots-Face square-Feet square
