Bob.
Your ShortGame dvd is excellent. Here in southern Ontario; Canada not California!; we suffer thru a long winter season. I am fortunately that there is a golf dome where I can practice. My question concerns the chipping stroke as described in the dvd. You mentioned that the stroke is a chopping motion not a stopping motion. I tried this technique at the dome but I am not happy with the feel. This dome does have what I would call a stance mat where you stand on ; basically solid rubber; and a hitting mat where you place the ball; looks somewhat like artificial grass. The mats seem to be too hard as I get the feeling that my club is bouncing off the mats. Should I wait until spring to try this chipping technique where I can get real results? I do like the method as described in the dvd as it is basic and simple. Good job. |

Save it until spring time. It is not worth it. Like you said the mats are too hard.
Thanks for your kind comments and stay in touch. Golfingly yours, Bobby |
