Default pulling

Dear Bobby,
When I use 3 wood, I tend to pull the ball both while teeing off and on the fairway. I am not able to correct this defect. Is it because I am using force while executing the swing?

Try this the next time out. #1 move the ball back in your stance an inch or two and #2 hold on twice as tight with your left hand that you normally do. Let me know how it works.

Question

Hi, I hit my drives 3 woods off the tee straight but pull my long irons not all but two or three per round.

#1 Put the golf ball back in your stance an inch or two
#2 Hold on with your left hand twice as tight
#3 Get back with me on the results.
