Default really short chips

ball just off the fringe,grass to deep to putt,hole only ten to fifteen feet from edge of green how do i chip from here i usually use lob wedge but can't hit it soft enough,should i open clubface and stance?

Deep rough, no green to work with, it is a pitch if you have stop it quick...if is a very difficult shot.

Open face, chop down.
