Default How to increase swing speed

3 Ways to increase clubhead speed:

    1. Stretching
    2. Increase Strength
    3. Proper Technique

proper technique is my specialty so I'll start there.

first, loosen your grip pressure. This will make the club close faster through impact.

second, turn your right shoulder further back in the backswing. This will create width in your swing (make sure to hold your right knee as it was at address).

third, focus on unhinging the right arm sooner in the downswing. This brings you into the impact zone on the correct path and with more clubhead speed.

    Drill:

Hit balls with your feet and knees touching. This will force you to undo the right arm in the downswing.
