    Cool Game Improvement

I had a hip replacement 3 1/2 months ago and am wanting to get back into golf. I was playing off a 15 handicap prior to my operation and have had a couple of rounds over the past few weeks where I am shooting about 5 or 6 over my handicap.

What can you suggest would be the best way for me to start improving my game and get my handicap down to the same or better than I was prior to my operation?

I did not know you are allowed to play so soon after the surgery.

#1 Start with putting. Spend some time finding out if you can get into the OLD position. You might have to compensate. This will affect the results.

#2 Move on to chipping and check your limitations. You are going to find out you do somethings better and some things not as well.

#3 Continue on with pitching etc.

I would not get into the full swing until you have the short game down. I understand from students I have taught that it takes a while to find yourself.

Let me know if this helped.
