    Default Drawing the Ball Alignment

Re the written instructions for "Drawing the Ball".

In the alignment section, ". . . feet, knees, hips, and shoulders need to be
parallel LEFT of where you want the ball to start".

Doesn't this make the stance OPEN?

No, the next time you go to the practice facility lay two clubs on the ground parallel to each other about three feet apart. The club on the right should aim at the target, the club on the left should aim parallel left of the target. We refer that as parallel left. Now take your stance, the clubhead should be perpendicular to the shaft on the right and your feet should be parallel to the shaft on the left. Let me know if this helped.

    Bobby,

To hit a draw, when you mentioned "target" on your post, did you mean target as to where you want the ball to "start to draw"? In this case, the target (or target line) then will be, (if you are going for the pin), left of pin. right?

I think an open stance will be (for a right handed golfer) if your front foot is farther back from pararell.
