    Default divots or no divots

I hit my irons well but do not take a divot. On the practice tees, I can take a divot if I try but do not get better results. Should I work on taking divots or accept this as my "natural" swing?

No two swings are alike. You should not worry about taking a divot. How far can you hit a seven iron?

I hit my 7 iron 130 yards. I use Henry Griffits fitted clubs with grafite shafts. I do not know there weight nor stiffness.

The next time are at the practice facility I want you try and find a downhill lie to hit some balls from. It does not have to be very steep but just enough so you have to steepen your angle of attack.

Let me know how it goes.
