    Question Club Shaft Position

In your video, "Swing Plane" you indicate that the club shaft butt should be pointing at the belt buckle. In many other resources, especially for the short irons, it is advised to point the club butt 1-inch or so forward toward the target. Is the belt buckle a "Texas size buckle" and there is leeway????

The further forward you place the handle the steeper the swing. If you are hitting thin iron shots then you can move the handle forward an inch or two.

The reason I don't suggest that is you have to be very careful not to open your shoulders when you do it.
