One of the things n the Golf Swing Guru website is the following bullet: Learn a secret on how to align the clubface so that you don't push the ball right. This is a problem that many golfers face, but luckily it is an easy one to fix.
That bullet really caught my eye because, although I've been working hard on my ball striking, I still hit two or three monster pushes each round with my driver. These tend to be really big but deep right. I paid for and received the Simple Swing downloads but did not see this addressed. I have to think it is some alignment issue that creeps up but since the bullet on the website had initially attracted me to the program, I was hoping for some insight. Can you provide some? I do think I am cognizant of keeping the ball forward in my stance with the driver, but I am not sure my hips and shoulders are well-aligned.
Thanks
Let's start from the beginning with your problem. "I still hit two or three monster pushes each round with my driver."
If you hit 10-12 good tee shots and then out of nowhere you hit a push then I am sure it is not clubface alignment. I am going to guess it is either your righ hip not turning out of the way in the downswing OR you are swinging too much from in-to-out. To stop swinging too much from the inside make sure you swing around yourself on the arc after impact.
Let me know if this helped.
