This is my 3rd week using your system. I've been taking my time at the range (lg bucket a hour to do).
I'm 5'6" 145 lbs age 48 average build. I can't get any distance. Ball fades or a little draw. My drives are 200 yards, pw 90.
Please help, I really don't won't to drive the ball 250 yds. 220 down the middle would be great. This is the only part of my game(my swing)that i need some serious help with.
The next time out on the range I want you to set up with two straight edges on the ground aiming in the direction of your target.
The next thing I want you to do is have a friend lay a club across your shoulders (after you are set up). Get back to me and let me know where your shoulders are aiming.

I set up with two straight edges on the ground aiming in the direction of my target.
Placed my heels of my feet on back edge.
Feet, hips , shoulders where all lined up with the two edges.
Bobby,
What should I do now ?
If you are cutting or fading the ball you must be hitting out to in. If you manage to close the clubface with the same path you will get a straight pull or a pull slice. You have to start swinging in to out or in to in, then you will see changes. How do you do that? Well, I have a list.
1-on the backswing make sure your shoulders turn and you back is facing the target at the top of your backswing. Try to avoid swinging your arms back without a shoulder turn.
2-the first move after the top of your backswing should be a shift of weight to your left side without any efforts in your arms. That should not only drop the club in the right slot, but it should also stop you from coming over the top.
Try that. But really really really try it. Doesn't matter if don;t hit the ball first, but to cure a slice YOU MUST STOP coming over the top. Over the top is an urge to hit the ball from the top of your backswing.
Best,
When you were addressing the golf ball parallel to the two lines were your shoulders square or aimed to the left?
Did you have a friend check for you? It is difficult to do it by yourself.
