My nic-name is Horrible-Hooker , so I KNOW what you are going
through. The only way I am able to keep the ball on the
fairway, is to try to resolve it at address.
Now, it is NOT the recommended way, but this is what works
for me:
At address, just before take-away "trigger", I drop my
RIGHT foot straight back by 1/2 foot-length. That is , I
slide my right foot in it's foot-print so the TOE is where
my mid-foot WAS. This is straight back AWAY from the
parellel "foot-aiming-line". This aims my shoulders to the
RIGHT of my target. I am sure this is NOT a recommended way
to correct a HOOK = BUT - it works for me. I am sure it
produces a LOT of negative things, but with very limited funds,
a teaching-Pro is out of reach for now$$$. I still play the
ball in the middle of my stance, but my shoulders are pointed
to the RIGHT of my intended target-line. Good luck.
Joe Z.
