Red face Driver push or slice

I have straightened out my iron shots using the methods in here and on the swing tips DVD.

My problem is - driver pushes left (left handed player)but the 3 wood off the tee is always fine, often carrying nearly as far as the driver because of the crisp hit.

Driver set up inside right heel, 3 wood a little further back.

    Any suggestions.

Your preaching to the choir...I am not a huge DRIVER fan for all golfers. Doesn't that knock you over that you can hit your 3 wood almost as far as your driver and straighter.

A couple of things. Are they from the same company, same shaft, same head, etc.?

I hate to give you a tip and then it messes up your 3 woods swing. After impact the clubhead has to arc back to the right. If you are pushing it you might be swinging too far to the left in the downswing.

Here is a tip to try. Set up to the ball your normal way and then peek over your right shoulder to the rough on the right of the fairway and see if you can PULL your tee shot to the right.

Get it...Don't hook it right, but pull it right...get back to me with your results.

    Default Thanks Bobby

    Hi Bobby,

    Your tip did help.

A lot straighter, I think from a combination - your tip made me turn through the ball more I think.I am more of a "body releaser".

The full swing lessons DVD is a good guide - I can recomend it to anyone wanting "ready made" tips to tighten up their game.

    Thanks again,

    Mike
