    Default Nervouseness Playing Golf

    Hi Bob:
Wonder if you've ever got a question like this before. I am a 10 HC and the stress of competition in golf - member member or now just in a league has allways brought out the best in me because I liked the competition. I am 54 and over the last 3 years I've been getting very nervous playing in my league, putting so much pressure on myself to play good and win that it is affecting my performance. Do you have any advice on what I can do to try to minimize or eliminate this nervousness. Thanks.
    Richard

It is very simple. You are not focusing on the job at hand. You are focusing on the end result. Try this the next time out. Focus on the shot in front of you and that shot only. Do not allow yourself to think of score, your playing opponent, slow play, etc. The shot in front of you, PERIOD...let me know if this helped.
