    Default pitching with a SW

    Hi

    Could you please give me some advice on how to pitch a close from 100 m in with a bare lie and

    using a sw
    using a pw.

    I need to know if I need to adopt an open stance and what the position of the shoulders should be.

    I seem to leave it always too short or topping it.

    Thanks for your help!

    Your strategy won't change much from sw to pw, you just have a little difference in loft to deal with, so the ballflight changes a bit. Off of a bare lie, you don't want to use a lot of bounce. So you need to be a bit steeper and use the leading edge. Set up with more weight on your lead side and try to keep it there throughout the swing. Finish lower and feel like you are knocking it down, keeping the trajectory low. The alignment of the body should be square to the target line.
