Default Swing Plane - how to avoid pulling club inside on backswing

I have viewed your full swing DVD and can see you emphasize the importance of getting the shaft parallel with the line of your feet at the half way back position - with a slight bend in your right arm.

My problem is that I have dificulty in reaching this point correctly and my arms follow my shoulder turn - hence a flat inside swing.

The only cure at present is to feel this position at the half way mark and then continue the swing. This makes the swing very jerky! Is there a drill to get to the correct half way back position with a hinge in the right elbow!

    Unhappy Swing Plane

I high push to the right is my bad shot with all the clubs. I feels that the club is inside and behind me and I cannot close the clubface at impact. I have today received your DVD on 'how to draw a ball' - perhaps this will help? but I still feel I have to stop myself from taking the club too much inside on the backswing.

A couple of things that will help. The next time you go to the practice facility, make sure you aim straight but, try and hit 10 yards left of target. #2 make sure your ball position is two inches further forward than normal, for all clubs. Let me know if this helped.
