Default Forward Press to start a full swing

    Dear Bobby,

I saw the full swing dvd a few times and I notice that you do a forward press / lean forward a bit on the club to start the backswing in every full golf swing. I tried it and it helps to make the swing smoother.

I wanna ask if this action is part of the swing or just preference to some golfer. If so what it really do to affect the whole swing sequence. Thanks

    Regards,
    Danny

    Danny,
This is just a preference. It's hard for some players to start their swing from such a still, static position. So some players will start their swing with a little forward press to act as a trigger and start their swing from a more dynamic position. It just helps get things started. Sounds like it's working for you, so keep it up!
