    Default Hands crossing over

I have one question for you that I am having problems with and looking for a possible fix. On the downswing, how do I get my hands to be able to crossover, I mean the right hand going over the left. I try to concentrate on this so much that I sometimes catch the ball thin or even fat or worst a shank.

I have tried keeping my head down for a longer period than normal which sometimes allows me to get my hands to crossover, but I have also had a local pro tell me that I keep my head down too long limiting my body turn and thereby limiting the distance I will get my clubs.

Do not try and keep your head down. Try this the next time out. Pour some balls out on a ABOVE YOUR FEET LIE...if you can not hit balls from a above your feet lie, then do it without ball. Hit some shots from this lie and you will start to FEEL the right hand crossover the left.

If you are shanking the ball, you are crossing over from the outside and not the inside. Let me know if this helps.

Most probably your hands are passing in front of the ball, therefore the ball is being striked bouncing from the loft of the club head to the hossel of the shaft having the ball blasted way right, especially when hitting wedges. I beleive.
