    Default squaring the clubface

    hi Bobby,

I have been practicing your how to draw DVDI am having trouble squaring the clubface at impact. I have moved my left have to a stronger grip but this is feeling like it is too strong. I also have a problem with pulling the club down (handle towards the ball) which i think is part of the problem of not getting my clubface square at impact. When i strenghten my right arm I tend to shank balls to the right. If I hold my clubface extremely closed at address I get a solid impact but if i go back to aiming right I am having a very difficult time. Any suggestions? Sometimes I play a round and I feel very good and then the next time I feel like i have no clue what i am doing even though I feel like the swing is exactly the same with opposite results. Please advice.

Let's start over. The face has to be square at address. What about grip pressure.

What I think is the one thing you are missing is the path in the downswing. Are you divots going to the left? Let me know.

#1 place two clubs on the ground parallel to each
#2 one club is to point at the target and the other is parallel, your feet line.
#3 your feet, knees, hips and SHOULDERS must be on the line near your feet.
#4 the reason I capitalized shoulders is your shoulders must be parallel and NOT aiming left of the target.
#5 the shoulders should be parallel or even slightly right of target, if your divots are going left.
#6 let me know is this helped.
