Dear Bobby.
I am pleased with the 3 CD lessons I have bought from you. The short game is helping. As for the DRAW...I have a problem getting the half way back position qwith the toe pointing upwards> This is giving me BIG HOOKS. Is there a drill that can help?..It is the setting of the wrists that is inconsistent. Would a forward press at address help? I am rerluctant to experiment myself as I might get into a bigger mess. What I have gained with your new swing and chipping I have more than lost with HOOKS..HELP. Just to remind you I am 72 and can't practise a lot. When I get it right I am 30 yards longer.

I do not know why the toe up is causing you to hook. Could you hook before you started with us? A forward press will not help. Are you saying when you are at 9:00 in the backswing with the toe in the air, you think that is causing your hook? Get back with me so I can help.
Dear Bobby, this is Maurice Tempest again, about my HOOKS. To explain a bit further I think I must be coming far too much on the inside, but of course I can't see myself. How can I check?I dont want to give in on this
Is there a place where you can hit some balls BELOW your feet? If not, maybe you can find some plastic balls and find a slope BELOW your feet, not real steep, slight slope, hit some and let me know what happens. Make 10 swings below and then hit 10 shots on level lie, go back and forth.
Dear Bobby, I havn't hit any balls below my feet yet, but I hit at the range with both feet and knees together, everything was fine but not long. I hit W edge, , 6 , rescue and driver Does this help your analysis? Maurice Tempest
Can't find a spot to hit shots with ball below feet etc, however playing for over 40 years I know I either loose it to the right or sometimes a big straight pull left. Today I hit more balls with feet/knees touching and with a very stance as well . I loose a bit of distance but am very straight , with sometimes a small fade. Other than straightening the R arm to start the downswing I have NOT tried to Draw again. I thought Back to Basics for now. I hope this helps you to help me. Maurice Tempest
