    Default Tightness Of Grip

I know that one should grip the club lightly. I've heard it compared to how you would hold a baby bird or I think you said "like you would hold a baby's hand or arm". I have been concentrating on this and seems to be helping. One thing, my forearms don't ache anymore after playing. My question: I notice that when I start my back swing my grip tightens somewhat. Should I be doing this? Seems like a natural thing to do since once something you have ahold of starts to move, it's only natural to increase grip pressure to assure holding on to it. I don't have the "death grip" I once had (thus no more forearm pain). Thanks.

I am guessing that it tightens SLIGTHLY...be careful, that club isn't going anywhere.
