    Default Hook yikes

Hi Bobby, I have watched all your videos available on Google and I think they are the best out there. They are short, to the point and they WORK!!!. i My problem seems more common in the hooks section but here is my question.

I often hit a hard hook right-right (I am a Lefty as my name suggests) with the driver, usually when I am trying to hit the ball hard. I have also struggled with dead pulls right-right with all the clubs. I recently changed the grip to a more neutral one, not seeing more than 1 knuckle and it seems to have helped greatly. The results were much better. Not as many hooks or pulls for sure. I did notice that I am now losing it left sometimes so will the grip pressure with 2x top hand vs the lower hand method cure this as well as the hooks?

Just a suggestion for you, when speaking on the forums could you please use generic terms such as "forward or back foot, hand, shoulder" that way lefties and righties will not have to convert as to which hand or foot you speak of. I understand most people are RH but when reading your answers I usually have to switch right for left to understand what you are saying.

    Thanks,
    Luc
I used to golf right-handed, now I shoot left-handed just as badly

sometimes what causes the hooks is speration between the elbow, and the side at the top of the backswing. if this happens, it's easy to close that clubface way to early. if you lock the right elbow to your side, it forces you to get your weight through the ball, and if you release the club correctly it should just be getting to square at impact.

focus on keeping the right elbo close to the side.
