Bobby
I am working on drawing the ball and when it works it is a beautiful thing, but when it doesn't, I push it right if I don't get the club face square to the target line which happens 1/50 times which I am slowly correcting.
The scary problem is when I miss with the club face closed to the target line the ball starts left and hooks further left. I think I am not keeping the shoulder back so I am coming outside in with a closed face.
I am looking for a drill to help me with the front shoulder flying open Any ideas?
response: hook most of the time, but if I get over concious, I block and push it. I am short and round, so I am trying to get the ball a little further away to give myself more room. It seems to make things a little better, but I don't know if this is just a bandaid

Are you struggling with the push or with the hook?

Try this the next time out...hold on twice as tight with the left hand as you normally do...let me know if this helps
