    Question Uphill & Downhill Lies

I have just recently golfed at a new course at Sun Peaks, here in Canada.
This course was built on a side of a mountain. It was a great challenge,
but I have not had much experience with uphill lies, or down hill lies. I
would like to know how to position the ball for these up & down lies. I
tried different positions, but I either hit the ground behind the ball, or
topped it. Could you please explain exactly where the ball should be for
    these two lies?

Also, lately I am hitting the ground behind the ball when I'm teeing off,
does that mean that the ball is to far forward or am I doing something
    else incorrectly?

Uphill shots, lean with the slope. Ball positioned for the club you are hitting.

Downhill shots, lean with the slope. Take more loft and swind the club down the sloep.

If you are hitting the ground behind the ball lift your chin up an inch or two and see if that helps.
