    Unhappy Inconsistancy

I have been playing for a while, and have about a 21 handicap. My iron (3 - 9) are very good...but my woods (metals) are very inconsistant... Sometimes a slice, sometimes a fade, sometimes a draw, sometimes straight, and sometimes straight ball flight but in a total different direction that I am
aiming...it makes it difficult to work on anything.

Today, warming up before a round I hit a small bucket of balls and saved the last 15 for driver....everyone of them was straight down the middle. When I got to the course, every time I pulled the driver out, I topped the ball.... Should I take up fishing?

Usually what happens is the pace changes on the golf course. Try this the next time out. Hit a 4 iron off of the first tee then a 5 wood off of the next and 3 wood off of the next and then the driver.

Let me know if this helped.
