    Default Getting thru the ball

I seem to do fine with a controlled turn and "keep the triangle"--BUT then I have two big problems. One is turning back to the ball to fast to try and power it(and then loosing my triangle) or if I do keep it I can't seem to get the wrist rotation in there at impact so I loose power.
    Questions:
    1) I've tried the down swing with my arms leading but when I do this it usually results in an over the top hit--any suggestions on how to turn back to the ball.
    2) Would it help get my hands into the ball better at impact by rotating the arms/hand going back so the back of the left hand is basically "up" and then just reverse the process coming back to the ball?
    Thanks,
    Gary
PS This forum is a great idea.

    1) make sure you swing the arms back down on the arc it went back on. Of course it is easier said than done. Bury some tees in the ground so you can keep you eyes on the arc.

2)When you swing the golf club back in the back swing and the shaft is parallel to the ground at 9:00 AND the toe is in the air then you have ROLLED THE LEFT FOREARM and it will continue to ROLL as you go back.

Let me know if this helped.
