    Default Falling Backwards

I always fall backwards on my swing and cannot get my weight shifted onto my left side at impact or follow through
I have compensated over the years and get a good result now about 60% of the time, but do not have consistency.
Do your DVD's address this type of problem?

Yes they do but try this first. Have you ever hit balls from a downhill lie? Not a ball below your feet but a ball going downhill will give you the feeling of getting over to your left side.

    Default Ball down hill

    Bobby,

I am in a similar circumstance. I can generally hit my irons straight (80% as a 21 handicapper) although sometimes there is a tendency to slice but not dramatically and follow through reasonably well. However, when it comes to my driver I am always slicing the ball. I can even hit my five wood straight and woulsd have to say it is generally a very reliable club. I have watched your video on greater distance and still can't stop myself from either lifting up and leaning on my left foot after impact,(left Hander) or not flickig my wrists on impact. Often my arms are straight after follow through. Would love to know what to do.

Can you explain what you mean by hitting a ball from a down hill lie? Should I close my stance more to encourage rotation around my spine? I need to improve because my 11 yr old is now hitting his driver consistently 150-170 and will soon be beating me with ease.
