dear Bobby:
I've had lots of problems chipping lately. About 4 years ag when i was introduces to the ProV i began to chip with my sand wedge from everywhere and hit it 3/4 to the hole and it would hop twice and stop - i was very good at it - always getting the ball close - for some reason the ball isn't doing that anymore so I'm trying to chip with my gap wedge off my front foot hitting it much higher and letting it role - but that's not working too well either - I'd rather chip with only 1 or 2 clubs - any suggestions?
Both shots you are describing are PITCH shots. Or you are chipping with you pitching clubs.
What is the problem. Too long, too short or inconsistent?
Hi Bobby:
Let me try to clarify it - one problem is a 10-15 foot chip to an elevated green with the pin fairly close to the landing area-
another e words no very little green to work with.
The second one is pith to an elevated green from 30-40 ysrds away.
Off the fairway which is cut very low - i tend to put my hand way ahead of the ball brcause i'm afraid i won't get it s
air born so it ends up going to the green low and way past the pin.
