    Default Missing the sweet spot

My question is I consistently hit my driver high on the face. There are lots of ball marks along the top edge of the driver face. I don't think my ball height is too high though, just missing the sweet spot. I'm a 20 handicap and my average distance is about 240-250 yards. My drives are usually straight or a slight draw.

The next time out I want you to try something. Make sure that the tee is in the ground AFTER you hit. When you bend over to pick up your tee you should find it right where you teed it.

Let me know if this helped.

I consistently break the tee off at the ground. I will try your suggestion and see what happens.
